St Austell Brewery – Black Out [6% Stout]

Description

Black Out is the latest limited-edition bottled release in the Small Batch Brew series for 2022. This velvety smooth and rich oatmeal stout is the work of our brewer and resident stout expert, Mark Heamen, who has been at St Austell Brewery for over 30 years.

After going down a treat on cask last year, Black Out is back by popular demand and packs a bigger punch with an increased abv.

A malty chocolate aroma sets the scene for a full-bodied flavour profile. Sweetness is delivered through an intense union of Roasted, Crystal, and Oat malts. This is met with a satisfying bitterness from Goldings hops and roasted malts.
