From Bayreuth – famous as the Wagner Festival city – a slightly stronger and darker wheat beer. Still made with 50% wheat and now thankfully back in fashion. Maisels is a spicier beer with clove like aroma. Served in tall vase shaped glasses with the yeast poured in to give the characteristic cloudy appearance.
