Fowey Valley – Castledore [6.5% Sparkling Cider]

Description

Castledore Cider is handcrafted at their cidery in Lostwithiel, a beautifully idyllic and historical town in Cornwall. At Fowey Valley, they only use fresh apples from their own Cornish orchard and others close by, and absolutely nothing else.

The name ‘Castledore’ is taken from the iron age fort Castle Dore which stands just a couple of hundred metres from the Fowey Valley home orchard.

This is a wonderfully refreshing, medium dry and lightly carbonated cider. It’s exceptionally clean on the palate, very well balanced, and low tannin, with a beautiful straw colour.
